Dostofarm was founded in 1999 in Northern Germany and takes its name from the word “Dost”, which was used in Germany in the past for “oregano”.
The components of oregano, specifically the essential oils thymol and carvacrol, are of high nutritional value. Their value lies in their antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties, which have been known for centuries now, and are also scientifically sound.
More specifically, the administration of oregano oil in the correct form and in sufficient dosage, acts against gastrointestinal disorders, such as diarrhea, constipation and “bloating” from gas.
